Yes I know it's August but then again it's typical British weather so sometimes we have to keep warm so forget boring plain tights and make a statement like I did with these show stoppers!

What we always knew but could never see- The below link is a 2009 Glamour Magazine photo shoot of Victoria Secrets Models in all their natural glory in fashion world this means no photoshop or airbrushing- Shock Horror! Well years ago it would have been but these days its so refreshing to show people that models are 'real' women too. It can be said that in todays world we often put ourselves under pressure as we feel that we need to aspire to look like the bikini model in the magazines.
What we often forget is that the pictures are air- brushed and all nips and tucks are tucked in (I have heard this process on a computer takes around 10 hours!!) to create an 'image' of what we should look like.
So articles like this are great for bringing us back down to Earth and realising that the models who are supposedly on a tailered diet (many of them maybe are) have all the lumps and bumps just like us.
Another triamph for Real Women, Real Fashion and Real Life :)

Another blessing from the shoe angel!
Thank you shoe angel for blessing me with these bargain beauties! Originally from Aldo and RRP of £80 I was lucky to snap them up unworn and for £4.20 on ebay! Its true what they say: One womans heels are another womans steals and at £4.20 I have really lucked out!

Corporate gets sexy!
Going to work has never been more fun now that fashion hit has the workplace dress sense! Forget boring straight cut suits and say hello to gorgeous glamourous shifts and A Line tailored skirts and this Spring sees us going bright so no bland pastal colours because corporate just got sexy!
With work wear now so transferable for the after parties theres no excuse of being late to anything now as now workwear is designed to take the time and effort out of getting ready. By day its a shift, team up with heels and some accessories and your good to go!
Where once it was acceptable to wear suits only we can now wear the tailored shifts and the most modern dress yet the wrap dress (Thank you Diane von Furstenberg!)during the day and then in the evening too. Is this another triumph for functional fashion? With our social lives becoming in tune with our work its become important for our clothes to be versatile particulary for us ladies who might want to spend more time on our makeup then getting dressed again! (Hence our dresses and skirts needing to be suitiable for day and evening wear).
Lets say Goodbye to Monday Morning blue say and hello to lively greens, yellows, pinks and oranges. Make your workplace your catwalk this season!

Next best thing...
Looking at this years Next A/W collection I felt compelled to write about it. I don't know about you but in the past when I normally thought of Next and its branding, it was branded at the slightly maturer market i.e. 25+ (Yes in fashion years thats ancient daaaarling!) and you would only go to Next when you needed a suit or smart clothing.
However now the re-branding of Next is one of the best fashion transformations ever! Judging from their collection I really do believe that Next can easily rival any designer upmarket boutique- everything is bang on trend!
So far (Yes I have a look list I am to invest in!) I have invested in some jewellery by the fashion label the fashion label they have instore: Runway fashion. Looking at the jewellery, a lip shaped ring with a diamonte, diamonte (I wish they were diamonds!) skull encrusted earrings and some red heart shaped studs, Next has clearly invested in some good lines- hence my point of the amazing 'fransformation' (fashion transformation).
No longer will people think Next is just about buying suits for work (although they do great ones!) but for all our fashion needs. The Next best thing has arrived people :)
